A lot of bodybuilders during their days of training are using bodybuilding supplements. These products help the body builders in their practice, by shortening the days of hard training and reaching their goal of building better and stronger muscle mass, to shape their body well with nicely toned muscles, just according to their desires.
Sometimes the bodybuilding supplements that are used are illegal, but there are also a lot of different types that do not have illegal ingredients. Usually they are just nature based and are like an addition to the bodybuilder's diet. These supplements are rich in protein, which is the main element responsible for creating the body muscles. They sort of help the body store the protein and like that build muscles. There are some supplements that even though are legal, still have many negative side effects. One of those examples of bodybuilding supplements which can be severely harmful are the andro-supplements which unfortunately seem attractive to the body builders. They can damage the hormonal system in the body leading to increasing of female hormones in a male body. Not only this will lead to breast growth and change of vocal, but it is also extremely risky for the heart and may be responsible for many heart diseases, even a heart attack.
Some of the not-so-serious side effects may include different allergies. For example, if the body builder is using liquid protein supplements, for muscle growth and replacing meals, and he or she is allergic to dairy, it can be really dangerous since most of these supplements contain dairy products.
