The Most Visually Transforming Body Parts

ByRex F Wheeler

Some people just don't like working out all that much. I can sometimes understand this particular sentiment. After all, working out requires a special kind of commitment that I suppose is quite a rare trait in this world of instant gratification. So let us suppose you are looking to make big changes to your physique and you want to find the quickest way possible to achieve that. What body parts, which if focused on, could respond quickly and rapidly transform your physique? Well, this is the post you've been waiting for. Some of my choices are obvious while some are controversial but I can only speak in relation to my experience.

1. Chest - A big chest is very hard to miss. Some people are lucky enough to be genetically gifted with explosive muscle growth in this area. A few push ups are all they need to build a sizeable pair of pectoral muscles. Unfortunately, some, like myself, struggle to develop meaningful chest growth. With that said, a well-developed chest is difficult to hide and it will make a huge difference to your body. It's a dominant muscle group in your upper body, and therefore, it's one of the areas you need to focus on. Be sure to work on it with multiple exercises like dumbbell & barbell presses, cable cross overs, push ups, dips and flyes.

2. Shoulders - Ever wonder why all rugby and American football players always seem to look 'huge'? They have huge shoulders and huge trapezoid muscles. This creates that 'power look' as their shoulders give them width and their traps give them that imposing look. The traps tend to bulge through all clothing and give you a muscular profile. Unfortunately, they are a pretty stubborn muscle group so you will have to work hard to get them to grow.

3. Lats - The lats are responsible for that coveted V-shape. The chest & shoulders make you look great from the front but the lats make you look great from the back. A wide back will also force you to walk with flared arms which is a tell-tale sign of a well developed physique. Lats are extremely responsive to exercise so you will notice improvements in a matter of weeks.

4. Arms - To be fair, I was going to omit the arms. This is because many male models, who have impressive chests and rippling six-pack abs, invariably have long skinny arms. Nobody seems to mind their physiques right? While that is very valid, I cannot ignore how great bulging biceps look when you wear a t-shirt.

I deliberately left out the abs as they are rarely on show unless you live by the beach somewhere. I also left out the legs because nobody but serious bodybuilders seem to care about them. All in all, these are the body parts I believe can make a dramatic difference to your physique.
