Effective, Best Muscle Building Drink

ByRachel Kings

Expert Author Rachel Kings

There are different drinks that are meant for different things, but we will be considering the best muscle building drink. The kind of drink that is best for muscle building is known as protein shakes. First of all, what are proteins? Proteins are body building foods, and they help in the strengthening of the bones and the muscles in the body. If you want to build muscles, the best foods to take are the ones that are rich in protein and they come in different forms, examples of such forms are supplements, drinks, and other unmentioned forms.

Protein shakes are rich in high-level of protein, and they are in the form of powder. To be prepared, all you need to do is add water to it, and it is ready to drink. They help in the building of muscles, and in the healing of worn-out muscles, and tissues in the body. Foods that are rich in protein are milk, eggs, butter, cheese, and chicken. The amount of protein shakes to be taken daily is about 120 grams, and it should be taken before performing any exercise. These shakes help in the increase of chemical change in the body and also decreasing the rate at which injuries are gotten during exercises.

Do you know that these shakes can be gotten anywhere? These protein shakes are very easy to get because any market and stores around the globe have them, and they are being produced by different people. There are also certain ingredients found in protein shakes, and they are whey protein concentrate, protein isolate, egg whites, calcium casein and others.

Not everybody likes taking these drinks, for example, me. I never liked these shakes because they taste funny; but after much encouragement from my pals, I decided to shun the taste and drink them, and they did me good. These protein shakes helped me burn enough fat and also build nice muscles, and it made me happy too. You can also make your own protein shakes as long as you have the required ingredients for it. It is also advisable for you to speak to your dietitian for the kind of protein shakes that are suitable for you.

This brings me to the conclusion of this article, but before I do that, I want you to know that in all things, there is an advantage and disadvantage, and you need to use your head when doing things. Drink wisely.

Know Your Muslce Groups For A More Effective Body Building Workout

ByMichael Oladele

Expert Author Michael Oladele

Body Building Anatomy

Understanding the muscle groups is vital when setting goals and helps develop focus when you train. Here in this article we take a look at the key muscle groups you will need to know and focus on for a more effective workout plan.

The neck muscle-In your neck there are the upper trapezius which travels down the back of your neck and the levator scapulae runs which travels alongside the first five to six vertebrae in your neck. These are the only two simple muscles you need to consider in your neck region.

Trapezius- Known as the traps and travels down along your back from the nape of your neck to the waist on both sides of your spine.

Shoulders- In the front part of your shoulders lies the anterior deltoids whilst down the side of your shoulders run the middle deltoids. Travelling down the back part of your shoulders are the posterior deltoid muscles and just below the anterior deltoids running from the armpit outwards you can find your rotator cuffs.

Chest-Known as the pectoral muscles.

Arms- As well as your biceps, the muscles located on the inside of your arm, you can find the triceps running down the side. These run from the shoulder down to the elbow. You can also see distinct muscles in your forearm as well.

Your arms contain two of probably the most well-known muscles, the biceps and triceps. The biceps are found on the inside of your arms and your triceps travel down the side of your arms running from the shoulder down to your elbow.

Stomach muscles- The abdominals are shorted to abs which is where you will build your 6 or 8 pack stomach muscles.

Leg muscles-Here there are three distinct muscle areas; the quadriceps, hamstring and calf muscles. The quadriceps or thigh muscles are located on the front of your thigh and the hamstring muscle is on the back of your thigh. The calf muscles are below your knee at the back of your leg.

Other Muscles-The above groups are key in understanding where and what the muscles are but there are other important muscles to take note of. They are the buttock muscles or glutes, the lower trapezius in the lower back and the latisimus dorsi or "lats" located in the upper back.

Knowing your body building anatomy can increase workout productivity as you become more aware of the muscles as you train. This developed focus will greatly help achieve your goals and improve motivation. A little research on your body goes a long way, so take some time, get a mirror and have a look at them and become a more aware and mentally prepared body builder.

Building muscle is a tiring and difficult task, but it doesn't have to be that way. Michael Oladele describes in his website Building A Body Guide that knowing your body and its functions can have a considerable effect on your motivation and training effectiveness. The Anatomy, Vital Nutritional Advice, Training Tips, Exercises, Do's and Don'ts and more can be found in his site so check it out even if you're a retired, practicing or new to body building. The advice and philosophies written in the many articles are easy to understand and implement immediately.

If you are performing traditional ab workouts, chances are, you already possess those great six packs. They are just maybe hiding beneath that layer of fat. If you really want to know how to get six pack abs, you have to get rid of your body fat until only 10% of them are left. When you have already eliminated that body fat off, you can now concentrate on abs exercises.

There are also people who fail when it comes to ab exercises. Remember that eliminating your body fat will help achieve a flat belly, however, a well toned abs can only bed done through ab exercises. You also have to perform these exercises the right way in order to get six pack abs. You do not have to believe what they say about how sit up can give you a well-ripped abs. In reality, sit-ups are not the best exercise that you can do on how to get six pack abs. Sit-ups will only give you low resistance level of intensity. This is not what you want if you want to generate muscles. They are not the correct exercise for the abs. To get you on the right track, place both of your hands right on your hips while you lift your upper body up during sit ups. When you do this, you will feel that your muscles are contracting. These muscles are also referred to as hip flexor muscles and these are the ones working during this exercise.

What are the things that you can do on how to get six pack abs? One thing you can do is to perform crunches. Crunches are also good when it comes to toning your ab muscles, but this is only if you do them properly. So think about how you do crunches. In this exercise, you have to move forward and contract your stomach muscles. In order to get the best benefit from this exercise, bend up tightly as far as you can and breathe out all of the air in your lungs. When you hold the air in, your stomach will be filled in with air. When your diaphragm pushes down the air it gives room for the expanded lungs. This is why you have to breathe out everything when it comes to crunches. Breathe out slowly when you bend your upper body and stay in this position until you feel that burning sensation in the abdomen. Perform 12 reps of this exercise. If you perform the crunches correctly, you will discover that you will not be able to perform more since your abdominal muscles are already tired.
